ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Community Reading Project

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Community Reading Project (CRP) provides a space for all members of our community  — students, faculty, staff, and administrators — to transcend the dynamics that typically shape our interactions by participating in a shared discourse around a common reading.

CRP employs all three dimensions of the equity-driven systems change model adopted by ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ while acknowledging that the discourses and frameworks to address equity and inclusion are ever-evolving. CRP offers a democratized approach to learning in an attempt to shift the institution beyond the goal of equity toward social justice through literature. 

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ CRP was developed by Equity Librarian Laura Gamez andEnglish Instructor Amber La Piana, who will co-facilitate 8-week sessions each fall and spring quarter.
