CalWORKs works to build strong families by helping parents reach their career potential. If you are a student parent with limited income, we’re here to support you as you pursue your education and career goals at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ.

You are eligible to receive CalWORKs services if you currently receive TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) and plan to attend or already attend ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ.

• Case management and tracking of student progress.

• Book vouchers, transportation assistance, and educational supplies.

• Work-study opportunities.

• Counselors and staff familiar with WTW (Welfare-to-Work) requirements and regulations.

• Job development and placement support.

CalWORKs and the Occupational Training Institute (OTI)

CalWORKs at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ is part of the

OTI supports CalWORKs and WIOA-eligible students enrolled in Career Technical Education programs at both ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ and De Anza Colleges. We also partner with select employers to provide interns and connect them with qualified employees.
